He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Wyant (Baker) and Sherman Syphert; his sons, Franklin Richard Syphert Jr., James Lee Syphert and Robert Mitchell Syphert; and his siblings, Dale Wyant, Raymond Elza Wyant, Gladys Telfer and Leona Brumley (Clarence).
He is survived by: his wife Helen A. Syphert (Zuklin); his children, David Syphert (Cindy) of Richmond, MO, Anna Miller (Wayne) of Rayville, MO, Timothy Syphert (Melody) of Rayville, MO, Sarah Jones (Mark) of Warrensburg, MO and Thomas Syphert of Excelsior Springs, MO; and his brother Joe Wyant. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Paradise Cemetery (18306 Collins Rd, Smithville, MO 64089).
