She was predeceased by : her parents, Jess Ritchie and Rosa Woods Ritchie; her husband Philip E. Hamel; her son Derald Casey; and her siblings, Clyde Ritchie, Vernon Ritchie, Jessie Morgan, Martha Farmer, Osamae Hall and Eunice Jenkins.
She is survived by : her son Larry Casey of Polo, Missouri. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
