It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Franklin Burnett of Polo, Missouri, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Burnett and Fannie Burnett (Settles); and his siblings, Thurston Burnett and Lillian Campbell. He is survived by : his wife Deloris Burnett; his children, Darlene Burnett of Lexington, MO and Randy Burnett (Elaine) of Wellington, MO; his grandson Taylor Burnett (Kirsten) of Blue Springs, MO; his brother Walter Burnett (Susan); his sister-in-law Gloria Burnett; his nieces, Shannon Burnett, Linda Lackey and Janice Guffey; and his nephew Keith Campbell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Missouri Quilt Museum in care of the funeral home.
