Alton Young Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alton Young of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Alton farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alton is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clovis Young and Dorothy Young (Davis); and his brothers, Alvin, Ralph Edward, Eddie and Leon Young.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kenny Young (Gale) of Wiggins, MS, Tim Young (Kim) of Poplar Bluff, MO, Phyllis Howard of Poplar Bluff, MO, Laverne Mossman (Tom) of Poplar Bluff, MO and Shirley Woolem (Dwight) of Fisk, MO.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.
