She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Guy and Velma T Helm (Shrum); her granddaughter Andrea Boekemier; and her siblings, Willie, Junior, James "Jim" Helm and Mary Webb.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Priester (Melyssa) of Fredericktown and Michael Priester of St. Louis; her grandson Matthew Priester (Brandi) of Fredericktown; and her sisters, Dorothy Tipton of Greenville, Ella Mae Thornburg of Greenville and Lois Upchurch of Greenville. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
