She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence R. Miner and Kathryn F. McFarland (Barton); her husband Robert Joe Whitmer; her grandson Robert "Bobby" Strenfel; and her siblings, Margaret Slay and Ronald McFarland.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Douglas (Kirk) of Poplar Bluff, MO, Cathy Vasko (Tyler) of Torrington, WY, Karen Armes of Poplar Bluff, MO, Wade Whitmer of Kansas City, MO, James Whitmer (Stephanie) of Ward, AR and Janice Whitmer Kruse of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Lance Strenfel, Candace Pisciotti, Paige Daane, Austin Armes, Camille Vaughan, Trevor Leutert, Chase Whitmer and Aidan Kruse; and her great grandchildren, Avery, Hayden Strenfel, Jude, Faith Pisciotti, Briden, Camden Resig, Abby, Lilly Wilson, Cristian Acevedo, Xzavir Jones, Jaycee, Dain, Ridge Armes, Cash and Lucy Leutert.
