He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Nichols and Evelyn Nichols (Strong); his wife Marie Rose Nichols; and his sister Eugenia Nichols. He is survived by: his son Heath Nichols (Tamara); his granddaughter Ensley Nichols; his siblings, Mary Hurd (Paul), Lillian Carter, Robert, Brian and Everett Nichols; his close friend Martha Gentry; and his pet Chloe.
