He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Shamblin and Edith Shamblin (Hicks); his brother Ronald Shamblin; and his brother-in-law Keith Shirkey. He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Shirkey of Morehouse, Regena Chronister (Richard) of West Plains, Missouri and Rick Shamblin (Pamela) of Blue Springs, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
