He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hunter and Iva Lois Wilson; his daughter Christina Hunter; his nephew Jim Leek; his niece Lisa Hamilton; and his siblings, Harold Greer, Larry Hunter, Linda Glud, Erby Greer and Ginny Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Megan Cole (Kenneth) of Walnut Ridge, AR and Selena Johnson of Poplar Bluff; his grandsons, Noah Cole, Brandon Hunter Sr., Michael, Jacob Johnson and Preston Barriner; his great grandchild Brandon Hunter Jr.; his siblings, Judy Leek (Roger) of Poplar Bluff, MO and Otis Hunter (Carol) of Poplar Bluff; and his niece Carolyn Simpson (Arthur) of Poplar Bluff. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
