She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John McFarlen and Nellie Norene McFarlen (Adams); her spouse Jessie Metz; her siblings, Sharon McFarlen, Donna McFarlen, John and Jerry McFarlen; her stepmother Evelyn McFarlen; and her stepbrother Bob Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Zachary Jones of Poplar Bluff, Stephanie Thatch of Gatewood, Elizabeth Huber (Tommy) of Poplar Bluff and Jessica Jones (Alix Jones) of Poplar Bluff; her grandchildren, Zachary Carl Jones of Puxico, Hatti Carpenter of Poplar Bluff, Mila Thatch of Gatewood, Rylee Huber of Poplar Bluff and Kip Hernandez of Poplar Bluff; her sister Debbie Gittemier (John) of Troy, MO; her stepbrothers, Mike Johnson, Ronnie Johnson and Steve Johnson; and her close friend Jeffery Caskey. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
