Though Doris has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Medling and Otis Lee Medling (McMurtry). She is survived by: her son Billy Gene Huson. She is also survived by 15 grand kids, 11 great grand kids, and 2 great great grand kids.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home (844 Cedar St, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the City Cemetery (1901 N Main St, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901).
