He was predeceased by: his parents, James Daniel Columbus Beckwith and Dottie Beckwith; his stepfather Louie Holifield; and his siblings, Frank Beckwith (Phyllis), Laurence, James Beckwith (Joan), Ernest (Barb), Zorie Ray (Jessie), Gertrude Beecher (Orville), Rodie Payne (Willie) and Silvia King.
He is survived by: his friend Ernie Powell; his wife Viola Beckwith; his sons, Doyle Beckwith, Jr. (Becky), Delane Beckwith (Teresa) and Darnell Beckwith (Abigail); his grandchildren, Joshua Beckwith (Hannah), Makenzie Dicken (Ryan) and Peyton Tinsley; his brother Daniel Beckwith (Sue); and his great grandchildren, Doyle Beckwith III, Calvin Beckwith, Ella Dicken and Carson Dicken.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 Iron Bridge Rd, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
