With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eva Joan Johnson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 27, 2025 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, E. W. "Buck" Patillo and Maggie Patillo (McCrory); her former husbands, James "Jim" Lazalier and Joe Riley; her husband Dewayne Johnson; and her siblings, Joe Umphrey, Mary Riefke and Beauton Day.
She is survived by: her children, Shelly Batton (Eric), James "Daron" Lazalier and Scott Lazalier (Rushell); her sister Shirley Turley; and her close friend Joe Ann Hall. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
