Gary leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Gary’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Gary will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Merriman and Ruby Blankenship (Badgett). He is survived by: his son Gary Merriman, Jr. of Tulsa, OK; his granddaughter BriAnna Merriman; his sisters, Ilene Ward of Poplar Bluff and Freida McKlintic of Poplar Bluff; and his pet Coco. He is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the White-Sanders Funeral Home (717 1st St, Fisk, MO 63940). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
