It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Edward Ridens Jr. of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on April 16, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Geri Elynn Copeland; and his nephew Duane Copeland. He is survived by: his parents, George Ridens and Joyce Ridens Sr. (Douglas); his wife Sheryl Ridens (Shaw); his children, Chris Ridens (Shelly) and Jera Morse (Robert); his siblings, Geneva Elaine Dugger (Randy) and Gary Earl Ridens (Geraldine); and his grandchildren, Caden Ridens, Jordyn Ridens, Paige Morse, Robert Morse Jr. and Austyn Morse.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
