She was predeceased by: her parent Christina Ellis Nash; her daughter Monica Benson; and her siblings, Nathan Ellis, Franchelle Turner and Magalene Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Lorenzo Ellis (Carla Parks), Pamela Hubrins (Richie) and Kevin Ellis. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; along with numerous extended family.
