She was predeceased by: her parents, W. C. Posey and Ruth Frona Hall Posey; her husband Richard L. "Dick" Mulkey; her daughter Ruth Tice; and her siblings, Clarence William Mulkey and Johnnie Nichols.

She is survived by: her children, Richard LeRoy Mulkey and Paula Christine McGath; her sister Edna Chaffin; and her great great grandchild Many. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
