It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Harwell of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harold, Sr. and Letha Mae Harwell; and his brother-in-law Gilbert Tarrance. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Harwell; his children, Donna Lynn Bryant (Troy) of Poplar Bluff, MO, James Stephan Harwell (Linda) of Smyrna, TN and Kenneth Dale Harwell (Lisa) of Jacksonville, FL; the mother of his children Mary Weaver of Fairdealing, MO; his sons, Randy Montgomery (Todd) of Fredericktown, MO and Jim Montgomery of Green Ridge, MO; his sister Carol Tarrance of Patton, MO; and his close friend Richard "Dick" Otte (Evelyne). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
