It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Jordan of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, born in Hartford, Kentucky, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lee and Beatrice Potts Lee; her children, Virgil Hodge Jr. and Penny Morrison; and her siblings, James T. Lee, C. A. Lee, John Lee, Earl Lee, Fannie Benton and Helen Hoover.
She is survived by: her spouse Jimmie Jordan; her children, Bruce Hodge (Angela) of Nixa, Missouri, Sheryl Merriman (Loyd) of Poplar Bluff and Linda Hodge of Harviell, Missouri; and her sister Rachel Chinn of Hartford, Kentucky. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and twenty-two great grandchildren.
