She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Birdsong and Gertrude Birdsong (Fisher); and her siblings, Velma Carter, Freddie Harwell, J. C. Harwell, Jerry Harwell, Carroll Harwell, Darlene McCoach, Howard Birdsong, Robert Birdsong, LeeElla Birdsong, Peggie Birdsong, Barbara Glore and Ann Rieter.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Adair; her children, Lisa Fuemmeler (Kevin) of Harviell, MO and James N. Adair of Dyersburg, TN; her grandchildren, John E. Sloan III (Jolene) of Poplar Bluff, MO, Noah Adair of Dyersburg, TN and Betsy Grah (Joseph) of Lebannon, TN; her great grandchildren, John E. Sloan IV and Tate Taylor; and her sisters, Betty Pyle of Poplar Bluff and Barbara Lundry (Lonnie) of Poplar Bluff. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 Iron Bridge Rd, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cochran Cemetery (482 Co Rd 480, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901).
