It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lesly Taylor-Smith of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Lesly may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lesly touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her parents, Woodrow Taylor and Martha Taylor; her husband Timothy Smith; and her sons, Kenneth Taylor (Kenzie) of Poplar Bluff and Nick Taylor (Adrienne) of St. Louis. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, along with many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Morrison Funeral Chapel (100 E Piedmont Ave, Piedmont, MO 63957). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 5:15 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery.
