It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ruth Duncan of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Tindall and Floy Tindall (Mahan); her husband Leland; her son David Warren Duncan; and her brothers, Milburn Tindall, Quinton Tindall (Bill), Ray Tindall, Glenn Tindall, Hayes Tindall and Gene Tindall.
She is survived by: her sons, Wally Duncan (Kathy) of Poplar Bluff and Greg Duncan (Mariela) of Phuket, Thailand; her grandchildren, Eric Duncan (Cristina), Natalie Gunning (Ben), Nicole Hewitt (Andrew), Sophie Duncan and Alex Duncan; and her great grandchildren, Connor Duncan, Everleigh Hewitt, Axel Gunning and Ruby Gunning. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Faithful Milers Sunday School Class or Women's Missions at Fellowship General Baptist Church, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
