He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Barksdale and Martha Barksdale (Hudgens); and his sister Amy Pursch. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Barksdale; his daughter Jennifer Green (Gene); his stepsons, Aaron Wiley (Mandy) and Matt Nunes; and his siblings, Dane (Carol), Chris, Phillip Barksdale (Adrian) and Lisa Dodd (Brian). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; along with numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 Iron Bridge Rd, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
