With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Milum Wilbur Copeland of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Copeland and Verda Mae Copeland (Allen). He is survived by: his wife Judy Copeland (Elder); his children, Jeff Copeland (Lynn) of Milstadt, IL, Kelli Kurtz (Tom) of Edwardsville, IL, Ted Elder (Tina) of Poplar Bluff and Vicki Robinson (Lanny) of Greenville; his sister Wilma Whitlock (Paul) of Rogersville, MO.; his grandchildren, Daniel, Megan (Lance), Macy (Adam), Jessica (Destin), Ryan (Brianna), Tyler (Ana) and Derek (Chasity); and his great grandchildren, Tatum, Ellen, Alaina, Aleah, Michael, Braylin and Braxton. He is also survived by several nephews, cousins and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morrison Funeral Chapel (114 Sycamore St, Greenville, MO 63944). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Patterson Cemetery.
