It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orville Duane Allen (Poplar Bluff, Missouri), born in Fairdealing, Missouri, who passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dewey Ruben Allen; his former wife Alice Geraldine Eggers; and his brother Ralph Donald Lee Allen. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Lavada Allen (Hutchison); his children, Linda Diane Mitchelle (Randy L. Mitchelle) and Col. Gregory Owen Allen; his grandson Kevin Lynn Allen; his daughter P. E. (Andra Lanelle); his grandsons, Michael Lee Mitchelle (Anne), Eric Allen Mitchelle (Cory) and Ryan Alexander Mitchelle (Laura); and his great grandchildren, Lily Anne Mitchelle, Charlotte Evelyn Mitchelle, Jack Lee Mitchelle, Caroline Alice Mitchelle, Kate Elizabeth Mitchelle and Georgia Louise Mitchelle.
