She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Taylor, Sr.; her parents, Edward Brown and Lillie Brown (Fields); her brothers, Willard and Jeweral Brown; and her son Edward Taylor.
She is survived by: her siblings, Darline Brown of Poplar Bluff, MO, Diane "Dorothy" Williams of Broseley, MO, Willie Brown of Broseley, MO and Edward Brown, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; and her children, Ellen "Bunny" Harris-Dorris, Brenda Johnson (Napoleon), Paula Taylor (Gary), Janice Taylor of Poplar Bluff, Mildred Clegg (Robert) of Indianapolis, IN, Everett Brown, Milton "Roy" Taylor Jr., Johnny Taylor (Charmane) of Poplar Bluff, MO and Isaac Taylor (Oudete) of Plainfield, IL. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Home Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the same location.
