Robert Eugene Anthony,
50, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away early Monday morning, October 11, 2021.
Robert was born on September 2, 1971. He at age 26 adopted a child with his first wife LaVonda “Lynn” Case; Brannon Anthony, he then married the love of his life Rena Anthony and after her passing, married Melissa Dougherty.
Robert was a retired river boat captain for Ingram Barge Company, where he was employed for 27 years. Robert then opened up My Brother’s Bar & Grill in August of 2019. Robert was such a kind hearted person and would help anyone who needed it.
Robert is survived by his current wife Missy; his mother Lois Anthony-Van Kirk; his two sisters and brother, Cindy Anthony-Sturgeon, Tina Anthony, and Frank Anthony Jr. and four sons, Daniel Mills, Jesse Bunch, Brandon Bunch, and Brannon Anthony. Along side three step sons; Austin Ross, Colby Ross, and Dustin Morse.
Robert was preceded in death by his second wife Rena Anthony and his father Frank E Anthony Sr.
Robert will be loved and missed dearly by everyone he encountered along his eventful journey. Many of his affiliates have mentioned this for closure, “He’s with Rena now, we can feel his soul smile.” Until next Time, Captain.
