Shelba Turner-Johnson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelba Turner-Johnson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, born in Naylor, Missouri, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Wertenberger and Birdie Wertenberger; her husband Donald R. Johnson; her son Keith; her daughter-in-law Kathy Turner; her grandsons, Joshua Turner, Brandon Callow and Matthew Wilkerson; her siblings, Earl, William, Frank Wertenberger and Shirley; and her close friends, Mary Arnold and Maxine Joy (King).

She is survived by : her children, Janet Arnold (Terry) of Fairdealing Missouri, Susan Wilkerson (Rick) of Harviell and Kenneth Turner of Naylor, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Chad Jones (Sirena), Kayla Thomas (Travis), Autumn Kiefer, Cassie Strohmeyer (Cory), Sean Turner (Jamie), Tanner Turner, Tyler Turner (Bonetta), Todd Wilkerson, Kadie Jones (Joe) and Nathan Wilkerson (Kristi); her sister-in-law Marie Wertenberger; and her niece Norma Wertenberger. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fairdealing Cemetery.
