He is survived by: his close friend Jane Ward of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; his children, Kenneth Wayne Thomas of Phoenix, Steve Pennington II of Tucson, Arizona, Liberty Pennington of Phoenix and Amanda Reyna of Fresno, California; and his sisters, Dana Pennington of Grandin and Marlina Maxwell of Grandin, Missouri. He is also survived by many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
