He was predeceased by: his parents, Birl Ward and Geraldine Ward (King); his wife Thelma Fay Ward (Green); and his siblings, John Ward (Earline), Butch Ward, Emma Smart, Brenda Bounds (James) and Patricia Kirkley.
He is survived by: his sons, Lynn Ward (Billie) and Lee Ward (Patty); his sister Sharon Riddle; his grandchildren, Chad Ward (Rachel), Wesley L. Ward, Shallyn Ward and Reegan Phelps (Thomas); and his siblings-in-law, Joann Ward and Leon Kirkley. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
