He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Anthony and Mary Maas; and his siblings, Joseph Maas, Robert Maas, Richard Maas, William Maas, Sue Kuersten and Linda Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Maas; and his siblings, Helen Diefenthaler, Thomas Maas (Cheryl) and Diane Donaldson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, brother and sisters-in-law and great nieces and nephews.
