He is survived by: his grandson Brady Cole Scherer; his sister Carol Jean Hulshof; his wife Paula Richardson; his sons, Chris Scherer (Laurie) of Portageville and Allan Scherer (Christy) of Titusville, Florida.; his siblings, Loretta Kellams (late Kelly) of Portageville, MO, Jimmy Scherer (late Marcia) of Oran, MO and Pat Scherer (Clara) of Portageville, MO.; and his nephews, Steve Kellams, Mike Kellams, Bo Scherer, Gilbert Scherer, Todd Scherer, Travis Scherer and Danny Scherer.
