He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington "Wash" Gibson and Mary Alice Gibson (Harvey); his wife Leona Maxine Minx; and his brothers, John Gibson, Fred Gibson (Gladys) and Eld.
He is survived by: his sisters, Myrtle Hawkins (James), Edith Gibson, Ethel Yost (Louis) and Esther Gibson; his daughters, Marcia Harris (Terry) and Mary LaRue (Philip); his grandchildren, Terra Morris (Eric), Adam Harris (Rachel), Clay LaRue (Tricia) and Kristie LaRue; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Lexi Morris, Graham, Cole Harris, Lane and Leighton LaRue. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home (301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, if desired, may be made in memory of Billy to the Shirley Union Cemetery or the White Oak Grove Cemetery.
