It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonita Ann Bourbon (Potosi, Missouri), who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Fitzwater and Mildred Fitzwater (Shepard); her brother Kevin Fitzwater; and her in-laws, Dudley and Lucy Bourbon.
She is survived by: her close friend James William Bourbon; her husband James Bourbon; her sons, Kent Bourbon (Paula) and Mitch Bourbon (Billie); her grandchildren, Kent Bourbon Jr., Owen Bourbon (Lora), River Bourbon, Keith Bourbon (Ashley), Kendra Owens (Stephen), Ethan Bourbon (Lilly), Micki Boyet (David), Casey Slovensky (Seth), Lillyan Bourbon (Ean Eaton), Cheyenne Bourbon, Brandon Bourbon, Hunter Bourbon, Emilee Bourbon, Dustin Bourbon and Connor Bourbon; and her sister Becky Maness.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the DeClue Family Funeral Home (301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the Sunset Hill Cemetery (10129 Manders Rd, Potosi, MO 63664).
