She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Tuncap and Antonia Tuncap (Diaz); and her siblings, Terisita, Daniel, Jose, David, Martha, John and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Benson; her daughters, Shannon Rios (John) and Crystal Schnabel (Raymond); her grandchildren, Aaron Rios, Cristen Rios, Samantha Schnabel and Shane Schnabel; her siblings-in-law, Dale Benson and Mary Ann Thurman; her nieces, Kim Coleman and Shannon Gravatt; her goddaughter Tania Lehotay; and her cousin Isabelle Haggard. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the DeClue Funeral Home (301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664). A Mass will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (201 N Missouri St, Potosi, MO 63664).
