He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Lee Mercer, Sr. and Pearl Mercer (Prevo); his siblings, Leona Ruth Willhelm (Dale), Iona Lee Mercer and Kirby Mercer; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Mercer.
He is survived by: his children, Renee O'Hanlon (John) of Potosi, LaDonna Mercer Kay of Potosi and Allen Mercer (Missy) of Potosi; his brother Marvin Mercer; his grandchildren, Sarah Land (Justin), Alisa Kilgo (Michael), Meagan Yount (Joe), Lindsey Johnson (Eric), Alice Fierce (Tim) and Jared Mercer; his great grandchildren, Devon Brawley (Breanna), Carter Fierce (Rilee), Gabriel Brawley, Allison Land, Katelyn Fierce, Landon Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Nolan Yount, Amelia Land, Ava Land, Chase Fierce, Marzee Yount, Kinslee Fierce, Ryker Kilgo, Kylee Fierce and Kohen Fierce; and his great great grandchildren, Byron Brawley, Brooke Brawley, Ezra Brawley and Oakland Fierce.
