We announce the death of Leonard Stables (Potosi, Missouri), who passed away on June 28, 2026, at the age of 86. Leonard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Grover Stables and Lelia Kathleen Stables (Riddle); and his wife Lucille Stables. He is survived by: his children, Joe Stables (Staci) and Julie Stables; his grandchildren, Brandon Stables, Nichole Stables and Baylie Thompson (Beau); his great grandchildren, Bryce Jenkins, Briar Thompson, Hoyt Thompson and Truett Thompson; his sister Freda Duncan; and his sister-in-law Daisy Wilkerson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
