He is survived by: his parents, Victor Edward Sims and Martha Jean Davis Sims; his son Nathan Sims (Savannah); his grandsons, Ethan Edward Sims and Everett Lee Sims; his siblings, Aaron Sims (Christy) and Lesa Harris; his niece Rachel Shomshor (Andy); his nephews, Trey Harris (Molly) and Derek Riddle; and his great-nieces, Agnes, Eleanor and Delilah.
