He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Virgil and Effie Francis Parkhurst (Seymour); his wife Marjorie Meinecke; his son Larry Wayne Parkhurst; and his siblings, Virgil, James and Minnie Peterson.
He is survived by: his son Wesley Allen Parkhurst (Betty) of Naples, FL; and his daughter-in-law Marsha Shew (Danny) of Princeton, MO. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
