He is survived by: his children, Kevin Dunning of Humboldt, TN, Anthony Dunning of Glen Allen, MO and Pamela Dunning; his siblings, Louise Abernathy of Puxico, MO, Jerry Dunning of Bloomfield, MO and Larry Dunning of Puxico, MO; and his grandchildren, Lance Lacy, Angela Smith, Andrea Miller, Jason Dunning and Stormie Dunning. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the White-Sanders Funeral Home (717 1st St, Fisk, MO 63940). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the White-Sanders Funeral Home Chapel (717 1st St, Fisk, MO 63940).
