He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Leo Johnson and Levine Sletten Johnson; his wife Deborah Sue "Deb" Robertson; his brother Scott Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Kunz, Barb Kunz and Wanda Kunz.
He is survived by: his sister Shari Eide (James) of Champaign, Illinois; his stepdaughters, Jeanne Arozqueta (Adrian) of Danville and Paula Adduci of Crockett, California; his stepgrandchildren, Luka Arozqueta, Sydney Adduci and Ashton Arozqueta; and his brother-in-law Gary Kunz.
