He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Plank and Bertha Plank (Lutz). He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Aaron (Beth) and Lori Paradis (Lance); and his sisters, Jane Scott (Larry) and Joyce Kenagy (Roy). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Floral Hills Funeral Home (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Jim's name may be made to Word of Grace Fellowship Missions or City Union Mission.
