He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer B. Stevenson and Virginia Hickerson; his wife Patricia Lucille Stevenson; and his sisters, Beverly Wyant and Patricia Mailen.

He is survived by : his sister Carol Simpson (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Winslow and Jimmie Mailen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
