He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Gieringer and Margaret I. Gieringer (Pierce); and his siblings, Charles Jr., Robert, Homer, Thomas, John, Benny, Michael Gieringer, Rosemary Schultz, Katherine Bennett and Betty Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Steven (Renee), Ken Gieringer and Lesa West (Brian); and his grandchildren, Mallory, Grant, Mindy (Gieringer), Kirstin (Sinex), Kyle and Mitchell (West).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Mount Moriah Cemetery South (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131).
