It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Annette Hellyer of Raymore, Missouri, who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. William Schepman and Dorothy Schepman (Ahlbrand); her brother Daniel Schepman; and her sister-in-law June Schepman. She is survived by: her great grandchild Hollis Wayne; her children, David Hellyer (Angie) of Smiths Station, AL, Julie Land (Paul) of Raymore, MO, Lisa Hellyer of Raymore, MO, Michael Hellyer (Sally) of Stuart, FL and Jennifer Briglia of Raymore, MO.; her grandchildren, Haley Berrios, Alyssa Kegles, Stephen Land, Sarah Land (Mykel), Micah Land, Shannon Andersen (Sarah), Caleb Briglia (Ceara), Jacob Briglia, Alyssa Reeves (Caleb) and Isabella Hellyer; her sibling's children, Jeremiah (Wendy), Joshua, Jonathan, Danielle (Jay) and Ashley; Dave Albers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Christ Community Church (14200 Kenneth Rd, Leawood, KS 66224). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
