With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ellen Halbert of Raymore, Missouri, born in Almyra, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2026 at the age of 100. She was predeceased by: her husband James Lowell Halbert; her parents, A. F. "Blondy" Thomas and Lillian Goodale Thomas; and her siblings, Vivian Robertson, Velmagene Gray (Leo), Venici Mann and A. F. Thomas.
She is survived by: her caregiver Lana Mann Newman; and her nephews, Thomas Buchanan and John Gray. She is also survived by great nieces, and a great nephew.
