He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Olin Sparks and Martha Belle Sparks (Laws); his brother Larry Sparks; and his sister-in-law Ruth Box. He is survived by: his significant other Beverly Watts; his children, Angela Sparks Weber (Curtis) and Phillip Mark Sparks; his grandsons, Nathaniel James Weber, Jackson Phillip Sparks, Benjamin Allen Sparks and Brian Mark Sparks; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Sparks, Kathleen Firl and Barbara Lippincott.
