He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgianna Burris (Homer R.) and Raydell Powell Sr. (Lucille); his wife Katherine M. Rowden; his son Mark Wise; and his grandmothers, Cahill (Dewitt), Deborah Powell and Raydell Powell, Jr. (Skippy).
He is survived by: his children, Peter Rowden, Jeff Rowden (Angela), Bridgett Davis (Jaime), Georgina "Gina" Rowden-Hawkins (James) and Tara Grear (Edward); his grandson Clifford Lemay (Juanita); and his siblings, Linda Battles (David), Rhonda Matthews (Kenneth), Alicia Williams and Edgar Powell. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and special neighbors.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Heartland Cremation and Burial Society (6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133). Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
