She was predeceased by: her parents, Blaine and Elaine; her parents-in-law, Albert and Maxine Coleson; her siblings-in-law, Stephen, Evangeline Coleson, Larry, Mary Wildfong and Martha Meyette; and her stepgrandson Richard Zamora.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph; her siblings, Marilyn West Dawalt of North Chili, Kimberley West Moore of Thomasville and Harry; her sister-in-law Francie West of Salem, Oregon; her son Jeremy; her daughter-in-law Juanita Coleson; her granddaughter Sarah; her son-in-law Joshua Coleson-Derck; her grandchildren, Madelyn Coleson, Joseph Derck and Miriam Derck; and her stepgrandchildren, Justin Zamora, Brandon Craddick and Mikayla Craddick.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nall Avenue Church (6301 Nall Ave, Mission, KS 66202). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133).
The family invites memorial contributions in honor of Charlotte to the H. Blaine & Elaine West Scholarship Fund at Nazarene Theological Seminary.
