He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludy Redmon and Maxine Redmon; his sons, Darryl L. Redmon Jr. and DeMarco Harvey; and his sister Ardelia Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Shanielle Copeland (Don), DeMarchelle Harvey, Kendra Courtenay (Clive), Jerry Roby and Cynthia Roby; his grandchildren, Aveontae Frazier, Ashanti DezAmore, Landon Copeland, Kelvin Foster Jr., Caiden Courtenay, Kaleah Courtenay, Kahli Roby and Mijah Roby; his nieces and nephews, Cheri Brown, Khisha Crosby, Alfonso Brown and Lamont Brown; his siblings, Rossie Redmon and Kenneth Redmon; and his sister-in-law Angela Strass.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Sheffield Family Life Center (5700 Winner Rd, Kansas City, MO 64127). A graveside service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:15 PM.
